Visa Fees

The visa fees for all visa categories are listed below.

All fees and charges are applicable for children as well, and are not refundable under any circumstances.

NOTE - Fee receipts are valid for 30 days.

Important: If you are travelling to the UK for the first time for a visit, please apply only for a Visit Visa valid for 6-months. The issuing of a visa is at the discretion of the Entry Clearance Officer at the British Embassy.

The visa fees shown below are in UK Sterling and are payable in the Nepalese Rupee equivalent according to the prevailing Consular Rate of Exchange.

VISA FEES AT THE EXCHANGE RATE OF £1= NRS. 135.00 AS FROM 20 August 2008

Fees are subject to periodic review. They are charged to cover the cost of application, and the VFS’ handling fee. Visa fees are always non-refundable. Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant.

Please remember to obtain an official receipt from the cashier for all fees paid.

    Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. Fees are usually payable in local currency and are subject to periodic review. Visa fees are non-refundable but if a payment has been made and the application is not submitted or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics details with their application, then we will refund the fee.
